Kibble adoption are in a unique position in that they are the first adoption agency in to work alongside local authorities in a radical way. We do this in many ways but overall our aim is reduce inequity and the post code lottery of adoption in the care system are not affected by the drift and delay of children’s plans by reducing the burden and workload on local authorities.
There are many in which we can work together with local authorities such as offering support with:
- The recruitment of adopters
- undertaking PAR-S assessment services
- Presenting prep groups on the Local authorities’ behalf
- Recruiting specifically for children who have specific needs.

No, this approach is a partnership approach where adopters continue with their local authority and are supported by Kibble Adoption.
Yes! We can undertake a full assessment on your family using our shared understanding model, with the option of including supports and intervention if required. For more information please see our support service FAQ here.
We believe that our model will result in a significant reduction of costs and resources to every local authority in Scotland by offering a co-produced service. Please contact us to have a further discussion.
